MOI's National DNA Database Center Awards Tatweer the Lab Information Management System (LIMS) Project.

The project aims to implement and integrate a LIMS solution that manages the complete life cycle of collected DNA samples by performing analysis, tracking and extraction of final results.

The benefits of LIMS include:

> Connecting all lab instruments to a centralized platform.

> Automating the DNA analysis process.

> Tracking of all DNA samples throughout their lab life cycle

> User-friendly software interface enabling lab users to easily manage lab instruments and DNA samples with few clicks

> Informative reporting and insights dashboards

It will have an added value of achieving the center objective by managing and analyzing up to One million DNA samples yearly.

The LIMS system will also have an integrated data analytics module to collect and present data insights to the lab personnel and management teams. The service can also be extended to other related domains and departments.
