Tatweer’s Road Assets Data Collector (RADC)

Tatweer developed the Road Assets Data Collector application to benefit site inspectors in collecting and
updating road asset data based on GIS locations. This provides better data accuracy, captures visual
media to support data validation, utilizes machine learning analysis for faster data validation, reduces
human error, and helps inspect geodetic referenced road assets at high accuracy level. The RADC application is deployed on hand-held devices to survey streetlights and road assets to check their conditions. These devices allow on-spot mapping, improving the accuracy of spatial data that aid in more timely and informed decisions.

The data collected from the application provides insights for planning the assets maintenance operations and
provides predictions for the corrective maintenance. This implies its impact in increasing the asset value and
life span.
