Project Description
The objective of this project is to provide consultancy services for the studies and engineering design of various safety improvements in Abu Dhabi city sectors and roads and to develop a comprehensive advanced GIS-based traffic safety management (analysis and evaluation) system based on crash data for safety investigations and studies
Scope of services
In order to enhance traffic safety, a comprehensive investigation should be conducted for the existing traffic safety issues in specific road networks, sectors and residential areas in Abu Dhabi Island, and provide Concept, Preliminary and Detailed Design and Drawings for the agreed recommendations to rectify the ‘sites of concern’ as per the relevant standards. In addition, supervision of works will follow the design and be the main part of the scope of services. Moreover, to provide an advanced road safety engineering training course to selected personnel from ADM and other Government Agencies
