In response to the 154 high-risk intersections that have been identified by the integrated transport center (ITC) across the three Abu Dhabi regions (Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra), Tatweer will adopt safe system principles to verify and validate the identified intersections through site visits and crash data analysis of the latest collisions.
Tatweer will be responsible for designing interventions, including concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for the finally selected and validated treatments and interventions for very high-risk intersections, preparing tender documents for the three regions, and providing tender support services as well as design liaison services.
