The objective of this project is to provide consultancy services for the studies and engineering design of various safety improvements in the cities in Al Dhafrah Region.

Scope of services

To collect complete data of the existing sites and carry out road safety inspections, and conduct analysis and design of traffic safety improvements in Dhafra region cities including:

• Traffic safety improvement in several school zones in DRM cities
• Design of roundabouts, U-turns, safety guard rails and traffic safety improvement for Jabel Al-Dhanna road
• Traffic safety improvements in Sila city
• Traffic safety improvements at U-Turns in Mirfa city and Liwa city
• Traffic safety improvement at Tel Mireb Festival Site in Liwa city
• Smart traffic light signal with electronic gates in Madinat Zayed
• Design of several roundabouts in different cities
• Signalized pedestrian crossings for two locations in Madinat Zayed
